Coperniking is a thing! Totally!

Kilka lat temu lokalna stacja telewizyjna zrealizowała materiał opisujący szczegółowo zjawisko BUWingu - spędzania wolnego czasu w licznych kafejkach, barach i atrakcjach zlokalizowanych w budynku Biblioteki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Jako wieloletni student UW (już niedługo ze statusem rezydenta :)) nie widzę, szczerze mówiąc, nic przyjemnego w siedzeniu w BUWie, a traumę z licznych przepraw z obsługą wszelaką będę jeszcze jakiś czas leczyć specjalistycznie. Nie można jednak odmówić budynkowi wyjątkowo interesującej architektury i malowniczych ogrodów.

Znajdujące się w pobliżu Centrum Nauki Kopernik zdecydowanie bardziej przemawia do mnie jako miejsce dobrowolnego spędzania czasu. Oficjalnie ogłaszam, że BUWing zostaje wyparty przez Coperniking (totalnie zastrzeżony znak firmowy!). Mówię wam Coperniking to przyszłość :).

Few years ago a local TV station prepared a show despicting a phenomenon called BUWing - spending your free time in many caffes, pubs and entertainment centers placed in and around University of Warsaw Library. As an experienced student (soon to be a resident by a sheer fact of how much time I spend there :)) I cannot really see the appeal, especially considering psychological trauma I get every time I'm forced to interact with people working there and someting goes wrong. All things considered  I still can't deny that the building itself holds a certain architectural appeal and the gardens surrounding it are a marvel.

Copernicus Science Centre located nearby definitely speaks to me better as a hang out place. So I'm making it official - Coperniking (all rights totally reserved!) is taking over. It's the thing of the future :).
